"Arkansas Wild Persimmon" Original Oil Painting

They grow everywhere here and are small, most no larger than a half dollar as this one, but so sweet when ripe. This is a small study of the elusive transition of colors of this small fruit.​ Once they are picked they change very fast!

I have been doing some fall clearing in the garden and this Lambs Ear is just so wonderful in color and texture I had to put it in a painting. The Nasturtiums are doing great in the crisp fall days we are having right now.

get out of the shell. I can remember cracking them for mom to do the holiday

"Red & Black Grapes with Old Blue Pottery Bowl" Original Oil Painting

The grapes are in season now and very plentiful! This is the 2nd painting with the old pottery bowl that I dug up when gardening in my back yard. It has drippy glaze and beautiful Turquoise blue colors.
