I am so glad Autumn is finally here! The other day we made a trip to the Mountain Home Berry Farm Pumpkin Patch to find just the right pumpkins. They are at their peak and are great decorating for that farm house charm.

What a beautiful river to float! The sun is breaking threw the clouds just this spot! I have painted a similar scene earlier but this one I believe captures the emotion one feels when floating this river.

Float Trip on The Buffalo Landscape Oil on Canvas

The past few weeks I have been moving the studio around and de-cluttering! Unable to get to my paintings, it has been very stressful, but I can tell you it is very difficult to get rid of anything that is not absolutely necessary or beautiful and can't live without it!  But I'm glad it's over and very happy with the new arrangement.

 

This painting is a quiet stop on the river just down from Buffalo City. I have other ideas for paintings from this spot.
