"Cottage Garden Cabbage Roses"

 

The Rose I most remember are the roses my mother loved the most. In her garden was a beautiful full rose she called a Cabbage Rose. Now I don't know if that was the correct name but it stuck and this is what it looked like to my young 8 year old eyes.

"Beautiful October Rose"

 

This is the last rose in the garden this fall. We have had a freeze so we cut all the flowers and brought them all in. I'm not sure what the name of this one is but it may just be "Beautiful".

"MoonLight over Rendezvous Ranch" Original Oil Painting 9" x 12"

The scene is one I have always wanted to stop and paint. Fall is setting in here now and giving the land a tint of gold. I can't get the colors down load to Blog correctly ? so be sure to check it out at DailyPaintworks.com, Least of all the problems I'm having is shooting the darker colors without glare! I really enjoy painting night scenes but they all have to be done in the studio. I have more on the easel of this scene and others in the area.
